Logo Usage Policy

Version 1.0 Established: March 8, 2026

This Logo Usage Policy (hereinafter "Policy") applies to all use of the logo marks, symbol marks, logotypes, and brand assets (hereinafter collectively "Logo") for which Synfortech (hereinafter "Company") holds copyright and other intellectual property rights.

By downloading, reproducing, displaying, distributing, or using the Logo in any other manner, the user (hereinafter "User") unconditionally agrees to all provisions of this Policy. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease all use and possession of the Logo and delete all downloaded files.

Art. 1

Permitted Uses

Subject to strict compliance with this Policy, the Company grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Logo solely for the following purposes:

  • Media coverage, news articles, and review articles that objectively report on the Company's services, products, or events
  • Publication on websites or blogs that factually introduce an officially established partnership or affiliation with the Company (provided such use does not conflict with the prohibitions in Article 2)
  • Non-commercial reference materials for purely educational or research purposes
  • Uses expressly approved in advance by the Company in writing (including email)

Any use not listed above is considered prohibited. If uncertain, contact the Company for approval before use.

Art. 2

Prohibited Uses

Users must not engage in any of the following actions. Violations constitute a material breach of this Policy and may be subject to legal action as set forth in Article 6.

  • Modifying, processing, distorting, cropping, or resizing (in a manner that alters proportions) any design element of the Logo, including colors, shapes, proportions, fonts, gradients, and layout
  • Creating composite designs that combine the Logo with other logos, images, or text
  • Using the Logo in any manner that creates a false impression of an official partnership, sponsorship, endorsement, or approval relationship with the Company
  • Using the Logo as a trademark, logo, product name, service name, or trade name of any company including your own (any trademark-type use)
  • Creating, distributing, selling, or publicly transmitting derivative works or adaptations that incorporate the Logo
  • Redistributing, reselling, lending, or pledging the Logo or its data files to third parties
  • Using the Logo in political, religious, discriminatory, or adult-oriented content, or in media associated with such content
  • Using the Logo in any content that violates public order and morals, is illegal, or that the Company determines in its sole discretion would damage its brand image
  • Using the Logo for fraudulent activities, phishing, or impersonation
  • Sublicensing the usage rights granted under this Policy to any third party

Art. 3

Attribution Requirements

In all media where the Logo is used, Users must clearly display attribution to the Company in a manner reasonably recognizable to viewers:

  • Required text: "This logo is the copyrighted work of Synfortech and belongs to Synfortech."
  • When used on web media, a link to the Company's official website (https://synfortech.com) must be set on the Logo.
  • For print, video, or other non-digital media, the Company name and official URL must be displayed in a clearly visible location.

Use without attribution will be considered a violation of this Policy.

Art. 4

Intellectual Property Rights

All copyrights, moral rights, design rights, and any other intellectual property rights relating to the Logo belong exclusively to the Company. The license granted under this Policy constitutes only a limited and revocable grant of usage rights and does not imply any transfer of rights, sublicense, or establishment of an exclusive license.

Any rights arising in content or outputs created by Users using the Logo belong to the User only to the extent they do not infringe upon the Company's rights, and may not be used commercially without the Company's prior written approval.

Art. 5

Revocation of License

The Company may immediately revoke the license granted to a User without prior notice in any of the following cases:

  • The User has violated any provision of this Policy
  • The User has engaged in, or the Company reasonably determines there is a risk of, conduct that damages the Company's brand, reputation, or business
  • The Company determines in its sole discretion that continued use is inappropriate

Upon revocation, the User must immediately cease all use of the Logo, remove it from all published media, and completely destroy all downloaded files.

Art. 6

Remedies for Violations and Damages

In the event a User violates this Policy, the Company reserves the right to take the following actions:

  • Demand immediate cessation of the violating activity and restoration to the original state
  • Claim full compensation for all damages suffered by the Company as a result of the violation (including but not limited to lost profits, diminution of brand value, reputational harm, attorney's fees, and litigation costs)
  • Any and all legal actions permitted under applicable law, including injunctive relief, claims for damages, and criminal complaints under copyright law, unfair competition prevention law, and other applicable statutes
  • Reporting to relevant authorities and platform operators and filing takedown requests

The Company reserves the right to pursue legal action even for minor violations. Users acknowledge that violations may result in significant liability.

Art. 7

Disclaimer

Except in cases of the Company's willful misconduct or gross negligence, the Company shall bear no liability whatsoever for any damages (including but not limited to direct, indirect, special, consequential damages, lost profits, data loss, and reputational harm) arising out of or related to a User's use of the Logo.

The Company makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the continued availability, quality, accuracy, completeness, legality, or fitness for a particular purpose of the Logo. The Company reserves the right to modify the Logo design or discontinue its availability without notice.

Art. 8

Amendments

The Company may amend this Policy at any time for reasons including changes in applicable law or business necessity. Amended policies take effect upon publication on the Company's official website. Continued use of the Logo after any amendment constitutes acceptance of the amended Policy. While the Company may provide advance notice of material changes at its discretion, it is not obligated to do so.

Art. 9

Severability

If any provision of this Policy is held invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Art. 10

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any and all disputes arising in connection with this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the district court or summary court having jurisdiction over the Company's principal place of business as the court of first instance.
